Zadie M. Campbell

Zadie Madeline Campbell, age 95, departed this life, surrounded by her family , July 10th, 2011 at The Laurels of Toledo under the care of Odyssey Hospice. She was born January 24th, 1916 to the union of John and Edna Earl (Loving) Hayes. Zadie was employed at the former Lion Store, for 33 years as a Sales Clerk, Seamstress and Hair Colorist.

In addition to her parents, Zadie was preceded in death by 3 brother, Lois, James and Andrew Hayes and 2 sisters, Pearl Hayes and Emma Morgan. She leaves to cherish her memory, nephew, Craig (Sheryl) Hayes of Douglas, GA; great-great niece, Tina Morgan; great niece, Renea Morgan Ajibada and a host of nephews and nieces of five generations.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Zadie.
