Zachary S. Parsons

Zachary S. Parsons, age 47, of Michigan, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 30, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1966 to Jonathan and Sandra (Sowal) Parsons in Southfield, Michigan. Zachary loved animals especially cats. He also created works of art and wrote poetry. He loved gardening and horticulture. Zachary was instrumental in helping develop the St. B'Norbrook Community Garden in Toledo. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Zachary is survived by his father, Jonathan (Merle Peoples) Parsons; mother, Sandra (John) LaFleur; sister, Marisa (James) Turner; niece, Victoria Turner; nephew, Nicholas Turner; longtime friend, Theresa Leilich, of Royal Oak, MI; and other relatives and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services for Zachary at this time. Memorial Services will be held in the spring. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
