Yvonne was called to her Eternal Home on November 16, 2014, she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior and the Great Physician. She is the daughter of Gerard F. Trabbic and Florence Louise (Koder) Trabbic. Born on May 27, 1945, she is the beloved sister of Juanita M. Ebright, Martha S. Walker and Raymond P. Trabbic who are surviving. She was the loving and devoted wife of James C. Smith who preceded her in death in 1990. Yvonne had great fondness and love for her nieces, Colleen, Susan, Crystal, Michelle and Molly Rose. She was also delighted by several great nieces and nephews.
Yvonne attended Bedford High School and was employed as a home health care nursing assistant for many years prior to retirement. Yvonne especially loved flower gardening, creating crafts and floral designs as well as quilting and painting art work. She was very fond of her pets and also of children.
Her family and friends will cherish her memory for her loving, kind heart and generous, caring ways.
She met many health crises with courage, patience and with a valiant spirit.
As a child of God, Yvonne was baptized in Calvary United Methodist Church, where she holds current membership.
She will be laid to rest in Athens, Alabama alongside her husband.
Yvonne was a living testimony of the Saving Grace and Resurrection Power of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
