Xen Mcnair

Xen McNair, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Lake Park Nursing Home. He was born on August 3rd, 1931 to Xen and Esther (Reed) McNair in Gary, IN. Xen loved horses and horse racing. He raised race horses that even went on to compete in the Kentucky Derby. Xen was a longtime member of the American Legion, Sons of Veterans and of the Moose Lodge, of Crown Point, IN. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family.

Xen is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeanine; daughter: Vanessa (Ron) Kors; son: Kevin (Renee) McNair; and grandchildren: Nicole Ruggeri, and Ashley and Ian McNair. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Sonia McNair.

The services are private. The Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
