Winifred Lucille Weiser

Winifred Lucille Weiser, age 86 of Toledo, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Goerlich Center in Sylvania. She was born on August 3, 1924 to Zetta Greene Humphreys in Morristown, Tennessee. Lucille married her high school sweetheart, Lee A. Weiser in Toledo on December 22, 1945. On December 22nd they would have celebrated 65 wonderful years together. For 27 years Lucille worked at Foodtown Super Markets as a Department Manager. She enjoyed her family and she especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Over the years Lucille traveled to Europe and Mexico with her husband among various other destinations. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and going on bus trips.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Lee A. Weiser of Toledo; children, Neil E. Weiser of Midlothian, Virginia, Barb (Terry) Belcik of Toledo, and Douglas L. (Renee) Weiser of Chester, Virgina; grandchildren, Shannon (Steve) Schoen of Houston, Texas, Brooke Tanner of Missoula, Montana and Sean and Justin Weiser of Chester, Virginia; great-grandchildren Hannah Lucille and Jack Robert Schoen of Houston, Texas. Preceding her in death are her mother and brothers, Willis and James Humphreys.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 2-4:00 p.m. & 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Minister Steve Bull officiating. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
