Wilma Lattea

Wilma L. Lattea, age 77, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1934 to Loyal and Goldie (Burkhammer) Rinehart in Vadis, West Virginia. Wilma attended Sylvania United Church of Christ for many years. She loved gardening and baking. Wilma loved nothing more than spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Wilma is survived by her loving husband of almost 58 years, Roy Lattea, Jr.; children, Dale Lattea, Janet (Tom) Woodard and Jerry (Sue) Lattea; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Naomi (Bill) Lattea and Elaine (Richard) Starcher; special friends, Marge Biggs and Ruth (Francis) Whisler; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Association Cemetery.
