Willodean White

Mom "Grannie" (February 20, 1930 – February 13, 2007), moved from this life to live with the Lord at age 76. She was born in Clay County, Tennessee, the second of four children. WilloDean was a very dedicated, hard worker giving 20 years of service to Lowe's Window and Janitorial Services, retiring from the Toledo Board of Education after 19 years.

Mom spent her life in the shadows always assuring her family she was there to help with whatever needed to be done. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a loving, giving, and caring mother, grannie and great-grannie. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved flowers, taking care of her garden, crocheting, listening to her police radio, sitting on the porch with friends (Jean) and family, playing her numbers, watching the Tigers, eating hot fudge sundaes, dancing at the Triangle, and spoiling her dog Bailey. Grannie's favorite saying was "Hey, you can't beat that with a stick!" She was a member of the Echo Meadows Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Raye Dean Havens; granddaughters, Kim (Jeff) Mullins, Kellie (Greg) Mudrow, Keri (Charlie) King; great-grandkids, Kortney (Brian); Kraig; Jeffrey Jacob; Kelsie; Kirsten; Kara; Kalvin; Kaden and Kane; one sister, Mildred (Billy) Dilworth-Cramer; many nieces and nephews, who shared a very special bond with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Cherry and Irene Lee; sister, Evelyn Linticum and brother, Charles Cherry.

A very special thank you to Dr. Marsha Paul for taking special care of her. Thanks to Nurse Maureen and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. We love you Mom and Grannie.
