Willie Mae Wilson, 94, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 27, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 1, 1924 to Sam and Sarah (Daniels) Green in Morengo County, Alabama. Willie Mae moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1978 and became one of Jehovah's Witnesses with the Longwood Congregation. She lived in Cleveland for 30 years before moving to Toledo in 2008 becoming a member of the Central Congregation up until the time of her passing. Willie Mae was happily involved in being a full time minister of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years and enjoyed talking to others about the Bible and the hope of living forever in a beautiful earthly paradise. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Willie Mae will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Romelia Wilson and Willie M. Wilson-Hill; former spouse, John L. Wilson, Sr.; siblings, James and Judas Green and Hattie Mae Jackson, Geraldine Green and Frances Webster. Willie Mae is survived by her loving children, John L. Wilson, Jr., Sarah Wilson-Hunt, Willie J. (Francine) Wilson, Tom E. Wilson, Ida Wilson, Roosevelt (Regina) Wilson, Frank E. Wilson, and Loretta Wilson; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sam, Willie J. (Jeanette), Pinell, Joe (Karen) and David (Jackie) Green; sisters, Louiser Jackson, Mariah Castro, Ida Mae James, Louise (Jerry) Merriweather, Lisa (Alan) Edmonds and Ginger Felton; spiritual daughter, Cleo (James) Demmings; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Private Family visitation was held for Willie Mae's family at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Memorial Service to Celebrate Willie Mae's life will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 139 Richards Rd., Toledo, OH 43607.
