William C Wallington

William C. Wallington, age 77, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his home. The son of Charles and Doris, he was born August 9, 1945 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Whitmer High School. Affectionately known as "Mr. Bill" he was a member of the Toledo Four Wheelers Club and as a member they participated in many events. During the blizzard of 1978 he would transport kidney patients to their dialysis appointments as well as help stranded drivers get unstuck. He worked for Hydromatic as a tool and die maker until retirement and was a member of UAW local 78. Bill loved cars and people. Hotrods were his favorite and would show his cars at many events winning multiple shows and awards over the years.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Greg, Nicholas Wallington; brother, Robert "Bob" (Kelly) Wallington; grandchildren, Taylor & Eric Wallington and good friends, Zennie Sullivan and Chuck (Dee) Musson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharlene Wolfe and his parents.
There will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
