William D. Tenney

William D. Tenney, age 64, resident of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2021, at Ridgewood Manor. He was born on October 7, 1957, to the late Gerald and Loretta (Butler) Tenney. William worked for Ford Motor Company Stamping Plant, Maumee, OH for 28 years.

William enjoyed life. He always had a smile on his face and could light up a room. With his contagious smile and laugh, he could be a friend to anyone. William was very giving; he would help anyone out, no matter how big or small. He enjoyed football, especially watching the Rams, motocross, NASCAR, and fishing. He loved birds and would raise pigeons.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his two sons, Matthew and Andrew Tenney; siblings, Mary (Daniel) Boyer, Daniel Tenney, John (Angie) Tenney, and Gerald Tenney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Sprague.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nursing staff at Ridgewood Manor for their love, care, and compassion they gave to William. Their generosity will forever be remembered.
