William J. "Bill" Reinhart, age 92, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born January 24, 1930 in Toledo to William and Gladys (Swartz) Reinhart. Shortly after graduating from Macomber High School in 1948, Bill joined the US Marines serving his country proudly during the Korean War. In addition to being honorably discharged in 1952, Bill was also the recipient of service metals including a Purple Heart.
Bill returned to Toledo, married and became a father to 3 sons. He was employed with Chrysler Jeep Corporation for more than 25 years. Bill was an avid fisherman, traveling to Canada on many fishing trips. He was also a car enthusiast over the years. Bill was a quiet man who enjoyed spending time at home. After remarrying, he became a member of Calvary Bible Chapel.
In addition to his parents, Bill was also recently preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Bethany Mae Reinhart and daughters-in-law, Catherine Reinhart and Kathleen Reinhart. He is survived by his sons, Cristin Reinhart, Michael Reinhart and Timon (Lori) Reinhart; stepdaughter, Becky (Terry) Williams; stepson, Mark (Lori); 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, Ohio.
