William F. Reed, 81, passed away on August 21, 2012. He was born on August 13, 1931 to the late Mary and Lloyd Reed.
Bill always loved working with his hands. He worked for Sylvania TV, Toledo Appliance and Glass City Nut and Bolt Company for many years as an Electrical Technician. Bill enjoyed playing the guitar.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Constance Whittaker (Gary McWilliams) and Joan (Frank) Whittaker; sister, Arlene (Nathan) Varner; grandchildren, Dennis (Karen) Whittaker, Tammie (Michael) Allen and Carol Whittaker (fiancé, Troy Martin); great-grandchildren, Ryan and Danielle Whittaker and many other loving family members.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 22 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Burial at Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ebeid Hospice.
