1953 - 2020
William J. "Bill" Kolasinski, age 66, of Toledo, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 27, 2020 after a two year battle with cancer. He was born on July 17, 1953 to the late Edwin J. and Mary Ellen (Buirley) Kolasinski. He worked at National Flight Services as an aircraft mechanic before retiring in 2011. Since childhood many memories were made spending time at the family cabin in Canada. Bill loved the outdoors, camp fires, grilling and anything to do with cars, motorcycles, boats or anything with a motor. He was a great provider for his family and they will remember him as a wonderful husband and father.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Kolasinski; loving sons, William Joseph and James Elan Kolasinski; siblings, Daniel Kolasinski, Edwin Joseph (Mary) Kolasinski and Melissa (David) Kina; brother-in-law, Frederick McIntyre and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Danya McIntrye and Mary Lou Steiger.
The family will receive guests on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with his Funeral Service starting in the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. It was Bill's request for family and friends to dress casually for services.
