William H. Ladd

William H. Ladd, 94, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2013. He was born on September 10, 1918 to the late Olie Mae and Sam Ladd in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Bill was a proud Air Force Veteran, he served in WWII. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, woodworking and sports, especially baseball and rooting for Ohio State Football. Bill retired from Luttrell Auto Supply after over 30 years of service as a Salesman. He was a member of the Maumee River Yacht Club and served as Commodore. Family was very important to Bill; he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his infant son, Gary and daughter, Nancy. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 70 years, Bonnie; son, Robert (Lisa) and grandchildren, Erin, Tristan and Megan.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
