William H. "Bill" Davis, 92, of Monclova, Ohio traded his earthly home for a heavenly home on January 12, 2013. He was born on January 15, 1920 in Kentucky.
Bill worked 30 years for Powertrain, retiring in 1975. He loved his country and was a proud WWII Vet, fighting in the Pacific Theatre in the US Army. Bill's hobbies in retirement were spending time at the golf course, visiting with friends and family and vacationing in the Smokey Mountains.
Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis; son, James (Sue); daughters, Rosemarie and Connie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 10-12:00 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A funeral service will begin at 12 Noon.
