William Gray

January 20, 1934 — April 10, 2023

William Gray, Jr. affectionately known as "Bill" was born January 20, 1934 to William Gray, Sr. and Mattie Rose in Eutaw, Alabama. He served in the United States Army from 1951-1953 and was honorably discharged. He lived a simple life, always displaying good work ethics while at times working up to three jobs to support his family. He worked for United States Postal Service for 30 years retiring in 1991. He enjoyed fishing trips with friends, traveling and loved playing card games. He confessed Jesus as his Lord and is now awaiting the return when the dead in Christ shall rise first. He will surely be missed by his beloved family and friends.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54
Behold! I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
So when the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.
