William F. Fogle

William F. "Bill" Fogle, age 74, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at home surrounded by loving family. He was born on July 14, 1938 to Will Tom and Alpha (West) Fogle in Tyrone, Kentucky. Bill worked in the union movement since 1956. He went to work for AFSCME in 1969 as an International Representative serving various locals throughout Ohio. Bill also worked for Ohio Council #8 from 1978 through 2009 representing Public Employees in negotiations, labor relations, arbitrations and grievances as well as CDL and Health and Safety Training. Bill was a strong voice for workers for 56 years.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janet Fogle; sons, Thomas and David; daughter, Kristin (Charlie) Moore; and grandchildren, Ngaire Anee and Lux William Moore

Bill elected to be cremated and a Celebration of Life was held with him present on July 30, 2012. There will be no services. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-381-1900) assisted the family with professional services.
