William D. Elmore

William Elmore found his eternal rest on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 after being a resident at Parkcliffe Assisted Living for the past eight months. He was born to Lillian and William D. Elmore, Sr. on March 8, 1936 in Toledo where he graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1954. He entered the Marines Corp in 1954 and served stateside until 1957. He was then employed at LOF Rossford for 30 years. He married Patricia (Mahler) in 1960 and she preceded him in death one year ago. Left to cherish his memory are their 3 children, David (Linda), Mark (Tracey), Daniel (Sherie), as well as 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Bill had a passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing which led to him to travel all over the country seeking adventures. He longed to travel until the very end and has now embarked on his biggest adventure yet.

The family will receive guests Monday, July 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society, 827 Illinois Ave., Maumee, OH 43537 or to a charity of the donor's choice in Bill's memory.
