William E. Beaverson

William "Bill" E. Beaverson, age 71, of Toledo, passed away May 21, 2014. He was born October 15, 1942 in West Unity, Ohio to Wilson and Iva Beaverson. Bill was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and member of the American Legion for 30 years. He was employed with LOF for more than 33 years retiring in 2000. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, target shooting and watching the Detroit Tigers.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, of 49 years, Barbara A. Beaverson; children, Larry (Beth) Beaverson and Brenda (Tim) Cole; grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Ashley, Cody, Kylie, Morgan and Justin; great grandchildren, Carter and Autumn; sisters, Gearaldene (Richard) Wheeler and Carol (Roger) Verburg. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Larry Beaverson.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 am. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
