William Carr

William R. Carr, age 87 passed away Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. On September 3rd, 1922 he was born to John and Tressa (Rath) Carr in Toledo, Ohio. William retired from Pexco Packaging Company after 33 years as a sales representative. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, life member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and High Twelve. William is survived by his son, Roger (Janet) Carr of Olathe, Kansas and brother, James Carr of Ottawa, Ohio and special friends, Tom and Terry Borton and family. Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Winifred; son, David Carr and three brothers, John, Daniel and Charles.

The family will receive guests Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the Lutheran Home of Toledo.
