William H. Bacon

William H. Bacon, age 88, of Sylvania Township passed away on November 12, 2023. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 23, 1935. He was an active lifetime member of Adam's Conservation Club, Union Ironworker for 70 years and a member of the local 55. William was also a member of the Army National Guard and was an exceptional marksman. He loved to fish, hunt, and play cards. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bacon, brother Leonard (Joni) Bacon, Children, Robert (Nancy) Bacon, Margaret (Bruce) Meek, Bridget (Ken) Gummow, William (Carmel) Bacon, grandchildren, Tim Gummow, Jacob & Josh Meek, Corey, Autumn, Sandra, and Courtnee Bacon, great grandchildren Hayden Gummow, Mazie, Aris & Castiel Bacon.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the "breakfast club buddies" for weekly cards and doughnuts, his hunting and shooting buddies and to Ohio Living Hospice.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617 on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday November 18, 2023 at 11:00a.m. with military honors to follow.
