William A. Brenneman, Sr., age 74, of Toledo, lost his long battle with diabetes and heart failure on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at the Toledo Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 29th, 1935 to Charles and Thelma Brenneman in Toledo. Bill was a self employed carpenter, active in Local Union #1138, retiring as a Construction Superintendent. His hobbies included fishing, remodeling loved ones home and many trips to Las Vega with his wife, Linda. But his greatest joy was family get-togethers and sharing memories. He was our rock, always there for anyone in need of a helping hand.
Bill is survived by his life long love and wife of 54 years, Linda (Strong) Brenneman; daughter, Laura (Kevin) Neilly; daughter-in-law, Janice Brenneman; grandchildren, Bryan Brenneman; Krystal (James) Ball; Kevin Neilly, Jr. and Shay Neilly; great granddaughter, Ireland Ball and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Burnep; son, William Brenneman, Jr. and grandson, Brad Brenneman.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 2-5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey rd. 9419-473-0300) with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Following Services Family and Friends are invited to a Fellowship Gathering at Krystal Ball's home.
