Wayne W. Cullum

Wayne W. Cullum, age 96, of Toledo, passed away January 26, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He had been in the company of all his children the evening before. Wayne was born April 7, 1922 in Toledo to Walton and Frieda (Wegner) Cullum. Wayne was a US Navy veteran serving in the Naval Air Corps throughout WWII. He married Alice Spencer in 1947 and they had 5 children. He was employed with the GE Supply Co. for 33 years. Wayne was a life long member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He loved camping, boating, golfing, woodworking and raising English Bulldogs.

Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife Alice; son, Mark; great grandson, Mark and sister, Marjorie. He is survived by his children, Larry Cullum, Sharen Mills, Bruce Cullum and Diane (Frank) Cullum-Kadlick, sister, Doris W. Foreman; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Monday, February 4, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home followed by burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43605 in Wayne's memory.
