Warren Wealleans

Warren D. "Buckeye Joe" Wealleans, age 77, of Toledo, passed away November 9, 2015 at Lutheran Home of Toledo. He was born May 15, 1938 in Toledo to Stella Jiskra. Buckeye Joe was employed with GM for more than 30 years. He was a very active softball player who hit many homeruns. Buckeye Joe was also a former baseball, softball and football coach. As a coach, he lead his team to win the Union, Local 14 World Series.

Buckeye Joe is survived by his children, Amy (David) Speelman, Sallie (Randy) Kirkendall, Chris (Lisa) Wealleans, Joey (Michelle) Wealleans, Matt (Debbie) Wealleans; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and siblings Bill and Pat. In addition to his parents, Buckeye Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wealleans and son, Dennis Wealleans.

The family will receive guests Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home.
