Warren W. Layman

Warren W. Layman, age 87, of Toledo, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008 in the Toledo Hospital. He was born July 9, 1920 to Walter W. and Marie E. (Konker) Layman in Toledo. Warren retired from General Mills after more than 25 years of service. He was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Secor Road. Warren was also a member of St. Clement Catholic Church for 53 years.

Warren is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Henrietta (Ziegler) Layman; sons, Chuck (Judy) Layman, Sr. Atlanta, GA and Ronald (Joan) Layman, Sr. of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Patricia Firsdon of MI and Lorrie (Donald) Hargus, Atlanta, GA ;13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Mass of Celebration, Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, Tremainsville Rd. Officiating will be Fr. Ed Littelmann. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Clement Catholic Church.
