Warren L. Baker

Warren L. Baker, age 90, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Lake Park Comfort Care. He was born on July 17, 1921 to Warren and Ella Baker in Pemberville, OH. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving our country proudly, as an MP during WWII. Warren was a Sanitarian for the Health Department for over 30 years with the City of Toledo retiring as a supervisor. As a craftsman he built a boat and made furniture and also enjoyed golfing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Baker and brother, Lowell Baker. Warren is survived by his loving son, Christopher Warren Baker; grandchildren, Heather (Nick) and Timothy (Julie); great-grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Gracie and Patrick.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 2 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 4:00 p.m.
