Wanda Lee Bunde

Wanda Lee Bunde, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Heartland of Waterville. Wanda was born July 23, 1942 in Sylvania to Neuman Sliker and Juanita (Batten) Grosteffon . Wanda was a graduate of Burnham High School. Throughout most of Wanda's life, she was a payroll/accounting clerk, having worked for Key Bank for many years and then later retired from the Toledo Clinic. She loved camping, fishing and anything outdoors. Wanda loved her grandchildren, Mark and Alyssa. They were her pride and joy along with her great-grandchildren, J'Lyn, Marvin, Shaun, Brook'Lyn, Angelina and Mark A., III.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was also preceded in death by her son, Mark Allen Bunde, Sr.; sisters, Delores Moore and Jo Ann Hardin and brother in law, Lyle Palan. Left to cherish her memory is her Partner, Penny S. Hawley; sisters, Donna Palan and Diana (Larry) Wise; brother, Jim (Linda) Grosteffon; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
