Wanda I. Eble, age 92, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 10, 1925 to Thomas and Della (West) McKinlay in Ontario, Canada. Wanda was a registered nurse for over 30 years before retiring from Riverside Hospital. She met the love of her life, Ken, in Bermuda while working as a nurse where he was stationed in the Air Force. Wanda enjoyed traveling, taking casino trips, gardening, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Kenneth Eble; son, Doug (Mary) Eble; daughter, Peggy (Michael) Krasniewski; grandchildren, Michael (Magie), Eric (Andrea), Kevin (Hallie), Lucas, Jackie, and Katie (Eric); 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Iris Hill; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
