Walter "Bud" Henry
Walter "Bud" Henry, age 71, of, Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 14th, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born April 19, 1934 in Toledo. Bud was employed with Bingham Stamping for 11 years. He was also a deacon and a member of Harbor Light Christian Church. Bud was very mechanical and he enjoyed building and racing stockcars at Toledo Speedway when he was younger. He was a former member of a local Auto Club. Bud was also employed with Kasle Metals for several years. Bud was an avid Nascar fan, following Jeff Gordon. Bud also loved to play with his cat "Squeaks". Most importantly, Bud loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Rosamond K. Henry, Bud was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Rosamond Henry; cousin, Betty Roach and In-laws, James and Armella Cousino. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy L. (Cousino) Henry, children,Walter (Linda) Henry; Dorothy Fry; Leroy (Julie) Walter III; Tammy (Scott) Rainey; Peggy (Mike) Niedbalski; Susan (Gary) Page; Jack; Mark and Hattie Henry; 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastors Russ Merrin and Charles Rainey. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
