Walter Forbes, Sr.

Walter L. Forbes, Sr., age 74, passed away Monday, December 5th, 2005, at Heartland of Oregon, with his family by his side. He was born on November 4th, 1931, in Toledo, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Minnie Mahler) Forbes.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Spadafore), parents; Charles and Minnie (Mahler) Forbes, brothers; Darold, Chuck and Eddie Forbes, sisters; Ivadell Etts, Margurite Tulak and Virginia Cislo, grandchildren; Amanda (Rader) Forbes, Darold Forbes, Jr., and Torina Campbell and great grandson Talon Boyd.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Walter (Debbie) Forbes, Jr., Darold (Roxanne) Forbes Sr., Hermina Forbes and Jeffrey Forbes, Sr.; Step-sons: Joseph (Jenny) Boyd, Jonathon Boyd; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Friday, December 9th, 2005 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 7:00 p.m. Pastor John Ransom officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
