Walter E. Mcgranahan, Iii

Walter E. McGranahan, III age 65, of Holland, Ohio passed away June 13, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born August 10, 1950 in Toledo to Walter and Joan McGranahan, II. Walt was employed as a Forklift Supervisor with TowLift for more than 29 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and driving his hotrod.

Walt is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janice Ann McGranahan; children, Rebecca (Pat) Thayer, Walter (Lisa) McGranahan, IV and Kelly (Nathan) Welch; grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Kendalyn, Danica, Madelyn, Wyatt and Rylee; and siblings, Judy, Cathy, Ron, Bonnie, Pat, Randy and Don. In addition to Walt's parents he was preceded in death by his second mother, D. Maxine and granddaughter, Kelcie.

The family will receive guests Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
