Walter R. "Wally" Burch
Walter R. "Wally" Burch, age 66 of Toledo passed away Saturday, February 7, 2004 in Arbors of Sylvania Nursing Home. He was born March 21, 1937 to John and Clara (Muslinski) Burch in Toledo. Wally was employed with local #45 for 30 years retiring in 1995. He had a love of antique cars and owned several over the years. His collection of Hot Wheels cars was one to be proud of. Wally also collected Woody Woodpecker memorabilia. He was known to enjoy a good game of poker with friends while they shared memories of their experiences. Wally was a member of the Black Swamp Cruisers Car Club for several years. He truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Wally was preceded in death by his in-laws, Margaret and "Skeets" Kelley. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Margaret "Kay" Burch; daughter, Debbie (Dalton) Burch; son, Gary (Pam) Burch and Jeff Burch; 6 grandchildren; brother, John Burch and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Doug) Marquis and Cheryl Litten.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 4-6:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
