Walda G. Kelly

Walda G. Kelly, age 58, of south Toledo, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Walda was a graduate of Bowsher High School and employed at the Medical College of Ohio for 19 years. She was a former member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church and currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was part of the Senior Choir and Praise Team. She enjoyed people, music and animals. Walda was also a lifetime member of the Town Club. She volunteered for Hospice of Northwest Ohio and the Ovarian Cancer Connection. Walda enjoyed her activities.

Walda was preceded in death by her mother, Walda J.; father, Gerald Robert Kelly; aunts Alma, Elsie and Lula Liebke; uncles, "Jerry" Gerhardt and Gerald Liebke and dog, Misty. She is survived by loving cousins, very treasured friends and her loving dog, Kelly.

The family will receive guests Monday, May 1, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 4560 Glendale Ave Toledo, Ohio 43614. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Chapel of Chimes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church- Dog Ministry or Contemporary Music Fund, Ovarian Cancer Connection, Assistance Dogs through the Ability Center of Toledo or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Walda's memory.
