Vivian "Skip" Richmond, age 84, passed away at Hospice of NW Ohio on December 7, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Retiring at 72, her working life spanned from filling Seeburg juke boxes with 45's, to telephone operator for Ohio Bell and local answering services, but the role she loved most was "Grandma."
Preceding Skip in 1992 was her husband, John, her biggest fan; and recently her son-in-law, Randy Bee. Skip is survived by her siblings, Nancy Westray and Bill (Grace) Grote; daughters, Candy Bee, Cheri (Mike) Rickheim, and Cindy Cessna (Ken Montrie); eight grandkids; 12 great grandkids and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests from 2-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will take place at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of NW Ohio.
