Vivian Marie Garza, 57, born on June 13, 1967 in Fremont, Ohio, to Ramon and Carolyn (Keivens) Garza, in the heart of a close-knit family, passed away on November 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, lots of laughter, kindness, and cherished memories.
A graduate of Libbey High School, Vivian carried family values and dedication with her throughout her life. Her awesome and outgoing nature was evident to all who knew her. Looking out for others truly made her happy, and that’s why she loved doing it cause that’s who she was. A remarkable, wonderful human being who had the ability to bring joy and love to all who were around her. That was the Vivian we all fell in love with. She loved life so much. It was a beautiful life that was cut short but she never gave up and fought with everything she had left in her, and again, that was Vivian, a fighter who showed the doctors and everyone that its not over till its over. She never lost her sense of humor even when her pain was unbearable. Her laughter was contagious throughout her life. Just being around her would make you laugh even if you didn’t want to, you couldn’t help it. She had that gift and making people feel happy and loved just came naturally to her.
Vivian's journey through life was marked by the many things that she has accomplished and embraced with passion and dedication. Her most meaningful role was being a beloved staff member at Bennett Venture Academy where she touched the lives of so many people by giving them a sense of hope and purpose. Her greatest joy came from her family. She had a great talent for cooking and loved filling her house with the smell of delicious meals that she made for her loved ones. Family get-togethers held a special place in her heart sharing laughter and love. Whether it was a festive holiday or game night, she loved creating memories that would last a lifetime, especially playing games with her grandchildren. Their laughter was music to her ears, and she took much joy in being a caring and loving grandmother. Vivian loved camping and being outdoors. Sitting around the campfire, surrounded by family, telling crazy stories that had everyone laughing, as she did many times before. She loved doing arts and crafts, bringing out her creative side, making beautiful things that made her happy, and showed her caring nature. Vivian was talented in so many ways. She was beautiful inside and out. Music has always been a big part of her life. Oldies, gospel songs always brought her comfort and happiness. Vivian’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering love that will be forever cherished.
