Virginia A. "Ginny" "Maudie" (Stiltner)Young
Virginia A. (Stiltner) Young, age 66 of Sylvania, was called home to Jesus Friday, September 17th, 2004 in the Toledo Hospital. She was born to William and Irene (Krauzer) Stiltner in Toledo. Virginia was known to her family and friends as "Ginny" and "Maudie". Ginny was a co-owner of the former Day's Café & Carry Out on Dorr St. for 11 years. She was also employed with Kohler Co. for 9 years. Most recently Ginny was a bus driver with the Sylvania School System for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards and being a Grandmother to her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her infant sister, Mary Jo. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, James "Jay" Young; children, Rebecca (Danny) Pierce of Toledo; Elizabeth (Skip) Johnson of Nashville, TN. And William Young of Orlando, FL.; grandchildren, Sarah York; Jason; Anissa; Jenna and John Cole Johnson; Dustin Hames; Andrew Flaten; great granddaughter, Cheyenna York; sisters; Loretta Stiltner and Marjorie Webb, both of Toledo. And special thanks to uncle Don and aunt Kathy Helf and the 7th floor C.C.U. staff at Toledo hospital for their loving care and support.
The family will receive guests Monday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Chaplain Don Deighton. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
