Virginia Ann Myers

Virginia A. "Ginny Ann" Myers, age 75, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born July 7, 1941 to Clark and Elizabeth (Hartford) Kirkendall. She married WIlliam O. Myers, Sr. October 18, 1957. Her family was the most important thing in her life, from her husband, children and grandchildren to her cousins and friends. She loved and collected purses and wallets, her collection was enormous. She enjoyed traveling to Tennessee to visit her daughter and grandchildren and, of course shop, for purses in Pigeon Forge. She also enjoyed bingo and Tuesday night dinner and movie with her husband and children.

She will be missed by her husband of nearly 60 years, WIlliam O. Myers, Sr.; her children, Margie (Jim) Hawkins, Teresa M. Hall, Wilfred L. Myers, William O. (Roberta "Bert") Myers, Jr.;10 precious grandchildren and 14 1/2 treasured great grandchildren; her puppy, Patches; brother-in-law, Harry (Angie) Myers; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Gary) Schondell and Gladys Pounds; her beloved cousins, Cheryl (Paul) Dziengelewski, Linda O'Dell, Victor Coutcher, Patty Wayne Coutcher, Clarence Coutcher and many more cousins.

The family will receive guests from 3-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, OH 43623. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
