Virginia Mae Lukich

Virginia M. Lukich, age 90 of Toledo passed away Friday, Decemeber 31, 2010 at the Darlington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Toledo. She was born on March 25, 1920 to William and Estar (Schramm) Compton in Perrysburg. Virginia retired from Gross Photo after working there for over 40 years and she was a long-time member of Augsburg Lutheran Church in Toledo. In her younger years Virginia enjoyed dancing when she could and she loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy (Timothy) Temple; brother, Alva (Violet) Compton; grandchildren, April (Mark) Mercer and Jason (Annie) Temple; great-grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Carley, Cali and Evan. Preceding Virginia in death were her parents; brother, Glen Compton and sister, Norma Avery.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
