Virginia M. Poggemeyer

Virginia Mae Poggemeyer, age 92, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 30, 1918 to Leonard and Mary (Larberg) Fisher in Toledo. Virginia graduated from Devilbis High School, Class of 1935. She was employed with Sears for many years. Most importantly, Virginia treasured the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald W. Poggemeyer and her sister, Francis Wamsley. She is survived by her son, Gene (Denise) Poggemeyer and their children, Brent and Cory and son, Leonard (Deb) Poggemeyer and their children, Lindsay, Alex, Ty, Sean and Kyleigh and great grandson, Zach.

Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park for a Memorial Service. For those joining the Poggemeyer Family, please meet at the front gates of Ottawa Hills Memorial Park 15 minutes prior to the Memorial Service.
