Virginia Kwiatkowski
February 17, 1919 — October 18, 2012
Virginia Kwiatkowski, age 93, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation and Residential Center in Toledo. She was born on February 27, 1919 to Cazmier and Helen Matuzewski.
Virginia worked at the Lane Drug Company for over 30 years before retiring. She was known to her grandchildren, their friends and all the neighborhood kids as, "Grandma Lanes." In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, dancing and was an avid reader. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her and especially her daughter, she was not only a mother but also a best friend.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Eileen (Eugene) Posadny; grandchildren, Jill (Randy) Hendrickson, Joe (Jan) Posadny and Jim Posadny; great-grandchildren, Karen (Rick) Belair, Andy (Jessica) Belicka, Jessica, Melissa and Lori Posadny and great-great-granddaughter, Aubrey Belair. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kwiatkowski; brothers, Raymond and Daniel and sisters, Clara and Florence.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services and burial will be private.
