Heaven is a more beautiful place since welcoming Ginger into the eternal light on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1940, to Joe and Rhoda Goncar in Pittsburgh, PA. Ginger was a 1958 graduate of St. Benedict’s Academy, and she retired from the Hair business in 2010. Ginger continued to work as a real estate agent for DiSalle Real Estate Co. She enjoyed volunteer work with Our Lady of Toledo Shrine-Path to Life and Victory Cancer Center. Ginger was a very Devout Catholic and was a Holy Eucharistic Minister as well as a Healing Minister at Christ the King Catholic Church, Toledo OH. With her young spirit and magnetic personality, Ginger impacted many lives by volunteering to care for the elderly during her retirement years. She had boundless energy and her love of cooking and preparing meals for her family will be forever cherished. Even with her own challenges later in life, Ginger always found the compassion to care for and help others.
In her spare time Ginger enjoyed garage sales and hunting for that special treasure. For many years she enjoyed the camaraderie of the "Taco-Margarita Night" which was a group made up of good friends that got together whenever they had the notion. (Mostly Monday nights at Sidelines) She also enjoyed her Sister Weekends which went on for almost 30 years. Most precious to Ginger was her family; they were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ginger will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
