Virginia Faye Freed, age 90, of Toledo, formerly of Findlay, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born July 19, 1928 to Lawrence and Eileen (Peart) Browneller in Findlay, Ohio. Virginia was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was very devout in her faith. In her later years, she became a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Virginia loved animals, gardening, cooking and entertaining. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Virginia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Huntsman, and Donald Freed; son, Timothy L. Cox; and grandson, Telly Cox. Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Jo Anne (Rex) Fulk; grandchildren, Timothy Cox, Leslee (Robert) Jeffery, Ben (Keri) Cox, and Mary Fulk; great-grandchildren, Anne, Wesley and Jackson; brother, Terry (Judy) Browneller; and 1 niece.
There will be no visitation for Virginia per her wishes, and Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
