Virginia Helen Bristow, age 86, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born in Toledo on July 2, 1929 to John and Lottie (Wodarszewski) Wojiewchowski. Ginny married the love of her life, Bruce Bristow on May 20, 1950. She worked for Champion Spark Plug for over 30 years in the order export department. Ginny was a member of Champion's Quarter Century Club. She was a longtime member of Regina Coeli Church.
Ginny and Bruce and their son, Dave; enjoyed vacationing in Northern Michigan. She also loved cooking and baking polish dishes. After her retirement she and Bruce spent winters in Florida from 1993 - 1997, shortly after they decided to build their home in Temperance.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce on March 18, 2017; sister, Helen Kundrath; brothers, Ted, Edward, Joseph and John Wojciechowski. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted son, Dave Bristow and one niece and nephew.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Regina Coeli Church, 530 Regina Parkway, Toledo, OH 43612. Her Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in the church with Fr. John Miller officiating. Interment will be Private on Wednesday in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery in Elmore, Ohio (CR 6 and Twp. Rd. 47).
