VIRGIL (BUTCH) DALE WIRICK II - February 22, 1956 – December 10, 2021
God gained another angel. We are sorry to see him go as he was a loving husband, friend and brother. Butch was a graduate of Whiteford High School playing Football, wrestling and basketball. He drove truck for 40+ years. He was delivering ice cream for Perry's Ice Cream prior to his death. He followed University of Michigan Football and was a diehard fan. He enjoyed cooking, eating and BBQs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane Wirick and Evelyn LaBoe, sister, Elaine and brothers Donnie and Ron Briggs.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Wirick, sisters, Carrie (John) Judd, Barb (Don) Bartel, Vicky (Dave) Goon, brother, Gene (Michaela) Wirick, his children, Duane, Shana and Brittany, step children Phillip Hallenback, Neal Hallenback and Melinda (Eric) Kostecky.
There will not be a viewing due to the Covid situation, but there will be a Memorial for him in the Summer. If you were planning on sending flowers, we wish to rather a donation be made to ALS instead.
Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio, handled arrangements.
