Violet Lagrange

Violet R. "Ann" LaGrange, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at Lake Park Comfort Care. She was born on June 28, 1928 to John and Violet L. (Priest) Saunders in London, England. Violet was a member of the Irish Club for many years and enjoyed square dancing and gardening. She was the Coordinator of the Food Closet for 18 years with St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Temperance, MI. Violet retired from Marshall Fields after 10 years of dedicated service. She also was an avid volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Reach for Recovery Division. Violet enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Ivy Stokes. Violet is survived by her loving husband of 60 years: LaVern LaGrange; daughters: Carol (Richard) Moran and Diane (Alan) Frank; grandchildren: Heather (Jim) Doll and Stephanie (John) Denney; great-grandchildren: Marcus and Corrinne Doll and Evan and Leah Denney; and her beloved dog: Shotzie.

There will be no visitation and services will be private per Violet's request. The Newcomer Funeral Home, assisted the family with arrangements.
