Viola Lewis

Viola M. Lewis, age 84, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006 in Lake Park Comfort Care Center, Sylvania. She was born august 24, 1921 to Harry and Gertrude Sallows in Ogden Center, Michigan. Viola was a longtime member of Faith Bible Baptist Church. She was a volunteer for many years Huntington Community Center. She also enjoyed quilting with her friends.

In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by her hushand of 65 years, Kenneth Lewis and son, Kenny Lewis. She is survived by her loving children, Carol Wheeler; Dale (Pam) Lewis; Tom Lewis; Janet (Ron) Baker; Rick Lewis; Denise (Nathan) Singer; Debbie Blockowski and Lisa (Richard) Maneval; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Katherine LaPere and Betty Easterday and brother, Harold (Doris) Sallows.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Faith Bible Baptist Church, 232 N. McCord Rd. Officiating will be Pastor Timothy Goodman. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
