Vincenzo Patriarca

Vincenzo "Colonel Pete" Patriarca, age 83, of Sylvania, passed away June 2, 2015. Pete was born January 7, 1932 in Sandusky to Vincenzo and Anna (Yingling) Patriarca. He was employed with the Volunteers of America for more than 37 years before retiring in 1994. Pete was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a very generous and giving man who would help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, Pete was also preceded in death by his six siblings. He is survived by his wife and caring friend, Mina Patriarca, daughter, Sharon (Mark Woelke) Downs, grandchildren Virginia Rose and Austin (Katie) Downs along with great grandson Larson.

The family will receive guests Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 5:00 pm. in the funeral home.
