Vicky Vargyas

Vicky L. Vargyas, age 53, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1954 to Russell and Martha (Weaver) Benson in Toledo, Ohio. Vicky enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with her family. She was also known for her love of motorcycle rides. Vicky was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Martha Benson and father-in-law, Julius Joseph Vargyas. Vicky is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Ronald J. Vargyas; children, Nicole (Randy) Moore; Christina (Gregory) Patterson and Jason C. Vargyas; step-children, Ron (Emma) Vargyas and Jason R. Vargyas; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Russell (Bobbi) Benson; Gary Benson; Jeanne Barney; Debbie Cole and Billie Jo Benson. Vicky will also be missed by her dear friends Sandy and Joanne and many extended family members and friends from Camp Sequoia.

The family will receive guests Saturday and Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Amboy Cemetery, Metamora, Ohio.
