Valerie Morris

Valerie Lynn Morris, age 59, of Toledo, Ohio took her husbands hand in Heaven on August 22,2005. She was born on July 31, 1946 in Streator, IL to parents William and Margaret Hunter. Valerie held a degree in Geography and Planning and was passionate about completing her thesis. She was also a fantastic gardener with a flair for sewing. Valerie had a generous heart as a volunteer for many local charities. She was also a born traveler and often took the "scenic route".

Valerie is survived by her loving children, Holly (Jason) Piening; Christopher Morris; Kelly (Todd) Palenske; Brooke (Matthan) Martin and Jennifer Morris; grandchildren, Andrea; Devin and Conner Piening; John Palenske and Gavin Martin; cousins, Marsha Alcorn and Lewis and Yvonne Elko.

The family will receive guests Friday from 4-8pm in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
