Valerie B. Josephson, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born on May 9, 1978 to David and Barb Milanowski in Toledo. Valerie was a 1996 graduate of St. Ursula Academy and 2006 graduate of Owens Community College. She married Brian D. Josephson on May 28, 2005 at St. Joseph Church in Sylvania. Valerie worked at the Hampton Inn in Oregon most recently.
Most precious to Valerie was her daughter, Ellie and devoted husband, Brian. They truly were her pride and joy. She enjoyed weekend trips to Hocking Hills, reality t.v., shoe shopping and spending time at home with her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Brian; daughter, Ellie; parents; sisters, Ann (Darius), Dorene and Heather (Jimmy); in-laws, Jim (Deb) Josephson; grandma, Rosemarie Berkel; nieces, Mia, Emma and Gina; nephews, Cody, Kameron, Noah and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Bob.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Sharing of Memories Service will begin in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
